KL Vibe is a free community events calendar for Kuala Lumpur. Browse what's happening on any date, and sign up to share your own events with the community.

No — anyone can browse the calendar and view event details without signing up. You only need a free account if you want to create your own events.

Log in, click any date on the calendar, then tap ✏️ Create Event. Add a topic and description, pick the dates and times (or tick All Day), optionally attach a photo, and hit Add to Calendar. Your event appears instantly for everyone.

Yes! When creating an event you can click or drag & drop one image into the upload box. Photos are automatically resized and optimized in your browser before upload, so they stay sharp but load fast. Tap any event photo to view it full-size.

Tick 🕛 All Day event while creating an event to set it to run the whole day (00:00–23:59) — the time pickers lock automatically. Untick it to choose specific start and end times.

To keep the calendar fair and spam-free, each member can create up to 5 events per day (resets every night at midnight Malaysia time, GMT+8), with a short 30-second cooldown between events. Each event can span at most 15 days. You'll always see how many creations you have left at the top of the create-event window.

Logged-in members can like any event by tapping the heart on its card — click again to remove your like. You can like each event once, and everyone can see an event's total like count.

Every member has an achievement rank that levels up as they create more events. Your icon evolves from 🌱 Newcomer → 🧭 Explorer → 🔥 Enthusiast → 😎 Trendsetter → 🌟 Rising Star → 🏆 Legend, all the way to 👑 KL Icon at 1,000 events. The icon appears next to your name on every event you post.

Click your name in the top bar to open your Profile. There you can see your rank and progress to the next one, how many events you've created, your account email, and a form to change your password.

Two live leaderboards: 🏅 Top Monthly Contributor lists the members who created the most events this month, and 🔥 Trending Liked Events shows the most-liked events happening around now (last month, this month, and next month).

VIP events are shown with a golden highlight so they stand out on the calendar. VIP status is granted by our team to selected members and their events.

Yes. Open the day your event is on and click the 🗑️ trash icon in the corner of your event card. You can delete your own events; our admins can remove any event if needed.

The calendar lets you browse from 4 months back to 8 months ahead of today. When creating an event you can pick any date within 1 year before to 1 year after today, and events can span multiple days (up to 15 days).

Accounts that misuse the platform may be banned by an admin. A banned member can still log in, but cannot create events, and their existing events are hidden from the calendar. If the ban is lifted, their events become visible again.

Yes. Passwords are stored as secure one-way hashes (never in plain text), all pages are served over HTTPS, and we apply rate-limiting and anti-bot measures to protect the site.
